Cyra Moreira grew up in the northwest of Paraná. She is a multidisciplinary artist, her paintings, drawings, sculptures and installations have their own techniques and style, built on almost four decades of artistic production and also in related activities. She studied with several artists, took several complementary courses in artistic techniques, and also acted as a designer and illustrator in print media, worked as a graphic artist and developed the virtual gallery project for Agência Estado.  Her formal studies include graduation from Instituto de Artes IADÊ - São Paulo;  Painting and Drawing at Paris VIII University, France ; Arts and design at Montgomery College - University of Maryland - USA.
